How do you create something forever associated with a specific experience?
Like when I forget my sunglasses one day and spend the rest of the month singing "blinded by the light..."
Reflections on holidays past

Easter vs. Passover: Christ is risen; bread is not.
Uncomfortable NYC subway sighting:

One person making out with another person who is reading the emergency evacuation instructions seemingly uninterested.
I guess it's helpful to be prepared.
You'd think that if mid-run you realized the pants you chose are see-through it would make you run faster. But not so if you're on a treadmill.
It is nice to be friends with genuinely good people but sometimes I wish I knew someone who owned an illegal handgun or had killed a cop so I could turn them in and get all that reward money.
I guess that wouldn't make me a very good friend though.
What is the evolutionary benefit of peaches having fuzz?
It is a rare thing to find in New York City, but the woman who sits next to me at work (at a Jewish non-profit) always asks absurd questions and I know they're gonna be good when she gets my attention by whispering loudly, Heeey. Is it offensive to say to a Jew "bless you" when they sneeze?
No. You can even say "Gezundheit"-- but maybe not followed by "Heil Hitler."

Sometimes I think I should have higher standards-- I would probably fall for anyone who showed up unexpectedly at my door with a bouquet of samosas. Or samoas.
Some days I look at all the crowds of people around me and feel the connectedness of the human spirit, that we all have the same basic needs and wants and are all searching for the same thing. Some days I scan all the faces and think: that dress doesn't fit you, you look like a jerk, don't stand so close to me, why are you walking so slow, why are you making that face, who let you leave the house like that, watch where you're going, you go to work in that?

Don't be a muggle in South Central while drinking your juice in Diagon Alley.

I am a good worker in that I come in every day on time and leave every day on time.
It's the middle that's the challenging part.
I would consider Scrabble to be building my reasoning skills.
Whoever invented office work knew nothing about human nature.
I'm fighting the urge to make paper snowflakes out of financial reports.
Being a grown up is painful sometimes.
There is something about a work day that makes me lose sanity and gain motivation to do basically anything except what I'm supposed to do.

I need a license plate holder for it: I'd rather be doing anything but get out of this car and go to work.
You know what is a surprisingly creamy beverage?
Milk with flavored non-dairy creamer in it.
Sometimes I think it's super healthy that I never drink coffee.
Sometimes I find other ways to disgust myself.
Mmm.
